OUR TEAM

Our team is led by Fouad Awada, who is the Principal Lawyer at Awada Legal. 

Holding a Masters Degree in Criminal Prosecutions, Fouad’s areas of speciality are criminal law and traffic law exclusively.

Admitted as a member of the Law Society of New South Wales, he is passionate about providing high-quality legal advice and guidance to his clients who may be facing serious criminal convictions and embarking into new and unchartered waters. He utilises his communication skills and empathetic approach to guide every client through the legal system, explaining how the law is applicable to them.

He has successfully defended or mitigated in matters involving drug supply, dangerous driving occasioning death, sexual and indecent assault, firearms offences and serious assault matters, both within State and Commonwealth Jurisdictions. 

With years of experience under his belt in exclusively criminal and traffic law matters, Fouad’s court advocacy and knowledge of the law serves his clients to maximise the best chances of obtaining the best outcome. 

Fouad prides himself on listening to and truly engaging with all clients to provide sound legal support and understanding. As an Arabic speaker, he can extend further assistance where needed to clients from diverse backgrounds.

Fouad has been appointed to the Legal Aid Indictable (Complex) Criminal Law, Summary Criminal Law, and Children Criminal Law panels.
